This new feature was developed at the request of a Nexonia Timesheets customer who needs their employees to be recording their time at the locations where they’re working. This feature gives them total visibility into where exactly their employees were when they submitted their time entries.

Here’s how it works. When employees enter their time on their iPhone or Android device, Nexonia records the device’s GPS location and saves it with the time entries. Entries are flagged with color-coded status icons if the time recorded is too from from the time entry’s intended location, and Administrators and approvers can then review the location details online with integrated Google Maps information.
