NextSpace @ Amplify marks the coworking company’s fifth location, joining an established talent network of 600+ freelancers, entrepreneurs, and independent contractors across northern and southern California. The Amplify campus is also home to the accelerator’s portfolio companies, serving as a hub of activity for investors, mentors and the professional community at large.
“The Amplify campus is purpose-built for working, learning and networking,” said Jeff Solomon, co-founder and executive director of Amplify. “We’re creating an epicenter for innovation in Venice, and NextSpace provides the perfect complement of coworking and community.”
Located on Windward Circle just two blocks from the beach, NextSpace @ Amplify will hold up to 100 people at a time. Members will enjoy Herman Miller furniture, and a giant community kitchen open to the entire campus. Private offices and conference rooms are also available, along with access to a 30 person classroom.
“We’re excited to partner with Amplify to draw top talent to Venice,” said NextSpace CEO Jeremy Neuner. “The NextSpace community is already home to dozens of technology, media, and entertainment companies, and now we can bring them under one roof with some of LA’s best early stage innovations.”
NextSpace @ Amplify will open in June. Designed by famous architect Steve Ehrlich, the historic building at 1600 Main Street is currently being renovated to house the accelerator, coworking and educational spaces.
