Kate Andersen, an award-winning copywriter and creative force behind some of the agency's most successful campaigns, has returned to Nicholson Kovac, Inc., as group creative director.

Andersen started at Nicholson Kovac in 2000 as a copywriter and was quickly promoted to senior copywriter, then group creative director. Communications work created by Andersen has been honored by New York Festivals, the American Advertising Federation (AAF), BtoB Magazine, and the National Agricultural Marketing Association (NAMA).
She started her career with a top agency in Little Rock, and has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Following a hiatus from NK during which she freelanced from home to spend more time with her family, Andersen returns to lead a creative department group and continue elevating NK efforts to produce relevant, ingenious work for its clients. Andersen also will work closely with the account service department to ensure that each client's creative work is results-oriented and directly linked to its business objectives and strategy.
