Nobo, a leading provider of meeting and conference equipment, has recently launched its 'state of the art' digital flipchart, Nobo Kapture®. Using specially printed digital paper, a digital marker pen and a USB receiver with integrated Bluetooth technology, Nobo Kapture® enables you to capture, edit and share your meeting notes instantly.

Steve Keen, Acco Europe’s Director of Product Management:

“This is the next step in affordable hi-tech conference and meeting equipment. Nobo Kapture® promotes creative environments, helps people save time and makes organisations look more professional.”

Nobo specifically designed Nobo Kapture® Digital Flipchart for creative organisations who value spontaneous and freeform environments; for SME’s who appreciate productive meetings without having to spend time writing up notes; for companies that encourage remote working and for those that want to demonstrate creative flair, whilst using the latest technology.

Nobo Kapture® uses a flipchart pad that is printed with a unique pattern of dots that enables a camera at the end of the digital pen to recognise what you are writing or drawing and which page or which pad you are using. The pen has integrated Bluetooth technology, whilst the USB receiver, provides the link between a PC and the flipchart pad. The Nobo Kapture software is plug and play and requires no IT support.

The digital flipchart solution works on both Windows and Mac operating systems. All documents are saved as a .nobx file but can be exported into familiar formats such as .jpeg or .pdf files.

The main advantages of using Nobo Kapture® against a traditional swipe board or paper chart are that it eliminates the need for someone to take notes during the meeting and forwarding them to all interested parties and there is no need to photocopy large sheets of paper and notes and diagrams can be edited instantly. What’s more existing users have said that it has encouraged more focused and creative thinking, and that it promotes e-brainstorming and helps presenters look more professional.

A starter pack that includes a digital marker pen, a 20 sheet digital flip chart pad and a USB receiver with plug and play software costs from around £99.99 (excluding VAT). You can purchase online by visiting: http://www.noboeurope.com/kaptureit.
