Branded4Good, a marketing firm that works exclusively with nonprofit organizations, announced today that it is officially launching its new Planraising Retreat Program in collaboration with Greatrake, McBride & Associates, a company that specializes in fund development and strategic planning.
The Planraising Retreat Program was created to help nonprofits get organized and on track with their various plans for the next three years. While many nonprofits currently work from a strategic plan and/or a development plan, the new emphasis on marketing has thrown them a curve ball. “Nonprofits realize they need a marketing plan and maybe even a social media plan, online marketing or content marketing plan, yet they don’t know how to fit it in with their other annual plans,” said Julie Damon, Marketing Director and CEO of Branded4Good. “Our Planraising Retreat Program helps them integrate everything into one comprehensive plan.”
Program participants can choose a one-day retreat to work on their marketing and development plans or a two-day retreat that also includes strategic planning and branding. This unique program also includes an on-line fundraising component – a retreat campaign page that helps the nonprofit recruit volunteers to participate in pre-retreat surveys, identify potential board and committee members, and raise funds for identified needs after the retreat.
As co-facilitators of the retreat, Julie Damon, veteran nonprofit marketer, and Joan McBride, President of Greatrake, McBride & Associates and a Certified Fund Raising Executive, will bring both creative and practical tactics to the planning process. The process also incorporates special online and print tools that will enhance each nonprofit’s chance of success when it comes to implementing the plans. You can find out more information about the program on our Planraising site, http://www.planraising.com.
“Strategic planning is so critical to a nonprofit’s future success, with fundraising being a particularly important part of the strategic planning equation,” said Joan McBride. “Our Planraising program is comprehensive and provides opportunities for a nonprofit’s various stakeholders to be involved in the process while approaching it in a creative and unique manner.”
