Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 31, 2013
The number of people who suffered from norovirus went up in the past few months. And as reported by foxnews.com, the new norovirus strain was behind it. In response to that, My Cleaning published a guide on how one could prevent the virus' outbreaks in houses.
In the report, the said new strain was identified as GII.4 Sydney. It was first detected in Australia last March. And as the report also specified, it increased the percentage of norovirus outbreaks from 19 percent in September to 58 percent in December.
According to the report, it was the finding of Center for Disease Control and Prevention that revealed about the new strain. The said finding was published in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
Below is an excerpt from the post New Norovirus Strain Hit United States by My Cleaning Products.
“For the past few months, reported cases of an illness caused by norovirus increased across the United States. And based on the finding published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, a new strain of it is to blame.
Norovirus outbreaks are common from November to April with January at its peak month. But unlike the previous years, the recent outbreaks were particularly caused by a new strain called GII.4 Sydney. It was first detected March of last year in Australia.”
My Cleaning Products, in its post, related that the illness caused by norovirus is common during the months of November up to April. Its peak month though, it added, is January.
Annually, norovirus outbreaks affect around 21 million people, the site said. Of that number, it detailed that around 800 die every year. And because there is no vaccine is available for it yet, it stated that everyone is at risk of being infected by it. However, it stated that it could still be prevented.
To help the public better understand norovirus, My Cleaning Products in its post specifically answered what is norovirus, enumerated the norovirus symptoms and even explained the norovirus treatment. And so they could protect themselves from the said virus, it shared CDC's tips to norovirus prevention. Those tips include the regular washing of hands with soap and water, sanitizing surfaces, cooking shellfish thoroughly and rinsing fruits and vegetables well.
But apart from recommending those tips by CDC, MCP also added that a person must also maintain a clean home environment to avoid norovirus and other disease-causing elements. And to do that, it asserted that green home cleaning products are needed. With them, one could make cleaning effective and safe, it said.
Nonetheless, of all the green cleaners, the website only recommended My Cleaning Products' all purpose cleaner, disinfectant and pest-control solutions. It asserted that its cleaners have already been proven effective and safe as they are all of organic ingredients. Its pest-control sprays were also pesticide-exempt as approved in FIFRA 25 (b), it added.
My Cleaning Products' safe and effective cleaners are available at MyCleaningProducts.com, shared MCP's post.
