The Norsworthy Art Gallery presents “Mystery in Stone,” a traveling exhibit of Zimbabwean stone sculptures, June 8 – 29.

“Mystery in Stone” is a collective premiere of Zimbabwean artists’ sculptures. These artists have created sculptures for generations that are filled with artistry, heritage and cultural designs from their African region.

The exhibit tours internationally in an effort to promote Zimbabwean art and raise support for the artists, their families and communities, and for the education and care of artists’ family members lost to AIDS.

“This is the first international exhibit that the Norsworthy Gallery has housed. We are very excited to present ‘Mystery in Stone’ to Shreveport-Bossier and feel that the artwork will leave the community in awe,” said Christine Bailey, owner of the Norsworthy Art Gallery.

The Norsworthy Art Gallery is located at 214 Texas Street, Shreveport, LA 71101.
