Super Lawyers, which has been published by Law & Politics since 1991, is a supplement that appears in leading magazines and newspapers distributed across the country. Attorneys who are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers for a particular state have obtained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of attorneys in North Carolina are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.

Ms. Hodges and Ms. Morris were also included as two of the Top 50 Women who received the highest point totals in the 2010 North Carolina Super Lawyers nominations.
Additionally, Kary C. Watson and Amy Purwin Hunt were included in North Carolina Rising Stars 2010. Ms. Hunt was included for General Litigation and Ms. Watson for Appellate and Family Law. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to this list.
