Michael’s leadership potential has been evident to me from day one, and we wish him every success in this milestone for his career.
Secaucus, NJ (PRWEB) February 28, 2012
Vision Media Marketing Inc., a full-service North Jersey public relations and media consulting firm, today announced one of its staff members, Michael J. Makarski, has been chosen as a 2012 Fellow by the New Leaders Council, an organization founded in 2005 to address the gap in progressive leadership development infrastructure.
The selection was based on a thorough vetting of more than 4,000 nominees, considering every detail of their training to evaluate their potential as a progressive leader. NLC Fellows engage in an intensive ten days of training over a five-month period to learn entrepreneurship, leadership, and political management skills from more than 150 industry-leading volunteer faculty.
Paul Swibinski, President of Vision Media Marketing, said, “As Mike’s employer, our company has fostered many of the skills considered by the NLC, and we hope to benefit from his training there as well. Michael’s leadership potential has been evident to me from day one, and we wish him every success in this milestone for his career.”
In addition to his employment at Vision Media Marketing, Mr. Makarski previously served as a marketing associate for Axon Solutions, was elected as a trustee for the Secaucus Board of Education, and interned at the office of U.S. Senator John Kerry. In 2007, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Mr. Makarski contributes to Vision Media Marketing’s blog, VMMI Policy Perspectives, at http://vmmi.net/blog. Vision Media also sends out a quarterly newsletter with back issues archived on its website at http://vmmi.net/media-room/newsletters.
