The Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 29th Annual Award for Business Excellence recognized the Chicagoland North Shore law firm of Katz, Goldstein & Warren in the Small Company category as a 2019 Honoree. The event, held at Northern Illinois University’s (NIU) Naperville Campus, gives these awards in recognition of business achievement, as well as, growth and community involvement. Katz, Goldstein & Warren was among 22 companies, business organizations and nonprofits selected as nominees.
“Receiving this award is a great honor to our law firm, especially as we celebrate our 20th anniversary,” said Principal Todd R. Warren. “The award recognizes the challenging and rewarding work that we do for our clients in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Clients come to us because of our reputation to handle their cases with professionalism, sensitivity and compassion. It is because of them that we are able to grow and be a trusted legal resource in the North Shore area.”
Prior to establishing the firm in 1998, the three founding principals—the late Stephen H. Katz, Ilene B. Goldstein and Todd R. Warren—had practiced together in the field of matrimonial law for many years. From day one, the firm’s lawyers have developed a keen sensitivity to the strife and emotional stress that often accompany divorce issues, while taking into consideration each client’s privacy with the utmost confidentiality and respect. The firm is comprised of seven seasoned and experienced trial attorneys, all of whom understand the impact family-related matters have upon clients and their children. Through their collective efforts, the firm is known for offering thoughtful and creative solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
Every year the Daily Herald Business Ledger awards businesses in the suburban Chicagoland area. Individuals, businesses and organizations submitted their nominations in different categories: Small Company (up to 50 Employees), Medium Companies (51-150 Employees), Large Companies (over 150 employees), Business Organization and Economic Development Entity, Architecture and Construction, Educational Institution, Entity or Program, Entertainment/Hospitality Company, Manufacturing, Minority-Owned Business, Innovation in Business, Family Business, Retail, Trade Association/Professional Society and Non-for-Profit. The publication’s editorial staff conducts the judging and selects the companies to receive the honors.
