TRUCKEE, CA (PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -– Martis Camp, located in North Lake Tahoe, California, hosted a Grand Opening event for the initial offering of homesites on September 16th. Phase 1 clients and Martis Camp Founders purchased over 100 homesites for nearly $72 million in sales during the summer long offering.

“We are thrilled at the sales success of Martis Camp, but even more with the great people who have become our new owners and members,” said Jim Bartlett, Chairman of Highlands Management Group. “It’s extremely gratifying to be involved with families who share in our vision for this special piece of property.” Highlands Management Group and DMB Associates of Scottsdale, AZ are the developers of Martis Camp.

The excitement and activity centered on Martis Camp over the weekend certainly impressed those on hand for the weekend’s festivities. The Grand Opening Celebration began with a Welcome Reception Friday evening held in a beautifully decorated tent with surrounding views of Tahoe’s spectacular Sierra Crest. During the day on Saturday, Martis Camp clients were able to make their final homesite selections. The day was followed by an evening of food, fun and festivities that included an intimate concert performance by the Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy award winning composer/singer, Randy Newman. All in all, it was a glorious weekend. And with such extraordinary results from this initial offering, you can bet the excitement for Phase II at Martis Camp has already begun.

Martis Camp will be a private, gated community that will introduce families to a new level of authentic North Lake Tahoe luxury. It is a community that aspires to be many things to all people. A haven of peace and solitude. A spectacular stage for outdoor adventure. And an amenity-rich environment that fosters friendships and brings families closer together. The Martis Camp lifestyle will be made all the more spectacular by the Martis Camp Club, which will feature a Tom Fazio Championship Golf Course, a Camp Lodge with fine and casual dining, a full-service Club Spa, Outdoor Concert Park and Amphitheater and a Family Barn complete with Movie Theater and Bowling Lanes.

DMB and Highlands Management Group have combined their talents to create the nationally recognized communities of Lahontan in North Lake Tahoe, CA, and Forest Highlands in Flagstaff, AZ. DMB’s list of acclaimed golf communities includes DC Ranch and Silverleaf in Scottsdale, AZ; Santaluz in Rancho Santa Fe, CA; Glenwild in Park City, UT; and Kukui’ula on the island of Kauai. Highlands Management Group’s resume includes Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, AZ; The Highlands in Breckenridge in Breckenridge, CO; the Sonoma Golf Club in Sonoma, CA; and Mira Vista in Fort Worth, TX.
