Come and share a multi-faceted store that does so much more than just sell a product. Robert and Zana Baruch, are the proprietors of http://NotJustTelescopes.com and are excited to share that they have opened their online store in the niche of optics. They have opened with four lines including telescopes, binoculars, monoculars, and night vision goggles. Yet, they believe that what they have created is the beginning of something of different value to the store’s visitors, as this business approach includes learning and teaching opportunities within the site.
NotJustTelescopes.com is ready and open for its visitors, yet will be a work in progress. As noted here, that learning opportunities will be included in the store. Robert and Zana drew the conclusion many years ago that learning and growing our minds never stops. With these product lines that they have included and continue to increase, there is so much that can be learn (and share) that they believe that this shop is the right vehicle for visitors to take advantage of capturing those learning (and teaching) skills that go along with the products lines provided. What is an advantage is that research and information will be provided with linkage that we will provide for visitors to consider independently. And, of course, visitor comments and input will always be a welcome resource.
Opening their optics store, Robert and Zana come with varied backgrounds. Robert spent many years as a professional in business and finance, and ended that aspect of his career as a teacher first at the niche college level and then as an inner city high school teacher in subjects surrounding his professional career. Zana actually continues her professional management career in the not for profit health care research and financial support field. One’s obvious question would have to be ‘how exactly did they come about developing this business without a broad background in their optics niche?’ The answer: their two grandsons. One evening at dusk the boys were lying on their backs looking at the stars as they appeared. They were pointed upward as their grandparents describe it when they came to the conclusion that this is a perfect time to go out and buy a telescope and work with their parents to jump in and provide education’s greatest of tools, “the teachable moment.” Robert and Zana drew a second conclusion that having access to telescopes and other optics equipment, where lives would become enhanced with a tool to view the world and beyond, just considering recent near space travel. The rest as they say is history.
So, pay the site a visit…come on in and take a look around, and should there be an inclination to share, give some feedback on what has been seen.
