Edwin Freeman stars in Fox Searchlight Picture's film 'Notorious', a biopic about the life and death of slain Brooklyn rapper Christopher Wallace (aka The Notorious B.I.G.), Freeman portrays Mister Cee, the legendary Hip-Hop DJ who discovered the young, ambitious rapper and introduced him to Puff Daddy, which resulted in a major recording contract with Bad Boy Records. Edwin's film credits include the Skgrilla Film direct-to-DVD release (Da Mission) as well as Columbia Picture's critically acclaimed (Across the Universe). Notorious, which also stars Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Puff Daddy, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur and Brooklyn rapper Jamal Woolard (aka Gravy) as The Notorious B.I.G. hits theaters nationwide on January 16th and will be distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
