"As a licenced Penetration Tester and Security Consultant, I have been looking for the best Web Application Testing toolkit, and in my opinion, we have finally found it," said Simon Earl, Lead Security Consultant of ITSE. Millions of custom Web Application have been built in the last 10 years, and no two are alike, which makes accurate automation difficult”

“Having ITSE on board as the UK partner is a key step for us” said Matthew Cohen, Co-CEO of NT OBJECTives

Manual penetration tests, the traditional means to identify Web Application vulnerabilities, are too expensive to be a solution for most applications. Even if every enterprise had the funds to review all of its applications as infrequently as once a year, there are not enough trained pen testers to do a tenth of the work.

Ben Reynish, Technical Sales Manager added “The addition of NTO’s products to our portfolio shows that ITSE is not only committed to having best of breed products, but to also stay at the cutting edge of IT Security technology.

“Having ITSE on board as the UK partner is a key step for us” said Matthew Cohen, Co-CEO of NT OBJECTives, “they have consistently proven to be capable of delivering a unique proposition for clients, not selling just a product, but a solution and a long term relationship as well.”

The logical solution is an automated tool. Unfortunately, first generation vulnerability assessment tools were not truly automated. The complexities of modern Web sites, including JavaScript, forms processing, complex authentication and session management, resulted in these early scanners requiring significant user interaction to completely crawl an application. Many users, untrained in their use, did not crawl even a portion of their sites and overlooked significant security holes. Moreover, these scanners merely pointed out long lists of vulnerabilities and did not assist security teams in assigning and remediating these vulnerabilities.

NTOSpider is the first next-generation web application vulnerability scanner, providing automated vulnerability assessment with unprecedented accuracy and comprehensiveness. Able to quickly scan and analyze large complex web sites/applications, NTOSpider identifies application vulnerabilities as well as site exposure risk, ranks threat priority, produces highly graphical, intuitive HTML reports, and indicates site security posture by vulnerabilities and threat exposure.

"It's fast and very effective. It allows me to pinpoint vulnerabilities in websites and web applications that would normally take much longer," added Simon Earl, "this means that we can highlight the vulnerabilities to the client before it is exploited in the wild. With this approach, we ensure that the client is not the next data breach headline," he added.
