do Brasil has joined AHCIET, a membership which solidifies NTT Com’s
commitment to the Latin American market. NTT do Brasil’s
application to AHCIET was based on Latin America’s
growing demand for IP transit services and the company’s
current South American customer base, which includes some of the
continent’s largest carriers. International
Internet traffic to and from Latin America grew 120 percent in the past
year, more than twice the global average.
Founded in 1982, AHCIET
is a non-profit organization representing more than 50 Latin American
and Spanish telecommunications companies from 20 countries in Latin
