Surgical Technology Leader Turns to Wright Line For 21st Century Surgical Suite Integration Support

Working with STERIS to develop its vision of mission-critical OR monitoring ideally pairs the core competencies of two industry leaders.

Wright Line LLC, manufacturing solutions leader for advanced tech environments, today announced that it has joined forces with STERIS Corporation, a global leader in innovative surgical technologies, to create functionally advanced nurse Documentation Stations for operating suites.

STERIS required a designer/manufacturer that could translate STERIS' surgical technology management vision into a practical and easy-to-use solution for OR staff. The STERIS-Wright Line collaboration produced an integrated surgical documentation workstation using Wright Line's Profile® Advanced Console System as a starting point. The new surgical documentation station not only addresses the many needs of circulating OR nurses, but also meets the clinical, management, ergonomic and technological integration requirements of advanced surgical environments.

Designed to enhance visibility for the surgical field, the documentation station addresses the demands of today's modern operating room. The station provides built-in white boards, easy access to keyboards and monitors, adjustable task lighting, generous work surfaces that withstand frequent chemicals and disinfectant cleanings and concealed/protected cabling.
