NuUnion Credit Union recently named Bill Lantzy manager of its Okemos branch. The full-service branch, located at 1821 Newman Road, is one of NuUnion's busiest offices. Lantzy has been with NuUnion for eight years and previously was branch manager of its Frandor branch in Lansing.
Lantzy strongly believes in taking an active role in the community. He currently serves as a founding board member of Capital Area Local First (CALF), a collaborative of Lansing businesses promoting support of the local economy by buying from local businesses.
"We take community involvement seriously at NuUnion and firmly believe in giving back to the communities we serve," said Lantzy. "I'm looking forward to being part of the Okemos community and building strong partnerships with our neighbors."
As a past recipient of NuUnion's highest recognition award for member service and a home equity specialist, Lantzy enjoys working with members to find financial solutions right for their situation. "Today's complex home mortgage market can be a little overwhelming," said Lantzy, "NuUnion's focus is on keeping our members' needs first and find answers that fit their situation. It might be a loan product or budget counseling, or it just might be guidance."
NuUnion was established in 1952 and today is nearly 89,000 members strong. With more than $818 million in assets and 14 branches, including eight locations in Lansing, two in Mt. Pleasant, and four in west Michigan, NuUnion believes in providing a unique service experience. Membership is open to anyone in its 28-county service area.
