Nuventix, Inc., the Austin-based active thermal management solutions company today announced that it has signed a Manufacturing Services Agreement with Flextronics.

    Under the terms of the agreement, Flextronics will perform new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing services for Nuventix. Flextronics will provide development and design for manufacturability support for the SynJet electronic cooling products from its NPI Center in Shanghai, China. Volume manufacturing of these active cooling products will also be provided by Flextronics.

Highly reliable "hot spot" thermal management products are used for cooling in a variety of electronic applications such as telecom, LEDs, and FPGAs. These products are in high demand because when today's faster, more powerful, and more complex electronic products are placed in innovative enclosures, they push the limits of today's cooling technology. The air-cooled, quiet, and fanless SynJet products from Nuventix quickly dissipate heat in these applications.
