Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) has successfully completed the SAS (Statement on Auditing Standards) No. 70 Type II audit for the fourth consecutive year. This success shows the viability of the OATI systems and processes in use throughout the energy industry.
The independent firm McGladrey & Pullen, LLP conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of OATI processes and controls. It found that OATI controls were complete, accurate, and in accordance with the standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SAS 70 Type II audits are accepted under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act for demonstrating compliance by a service organization.
