New Remanufacturing Program for Office Cubicles Launches at San Diego Office Furniture Store

Jay Campbell, founder and owner of Miramar Office Furniture, recently announced the initiation of new program to remodel used workstations and office cubicles in San Diego. Focusing on new and used furniture for commercial office spaces, Miramar Office Furniture will now be providing an environmentally sound remanufacturing program to repaint, resurface, and re-upholster old workstations. Campbell says he is excited about the chance to encourage sustainable production and cut down on the cost of high quality used office furniture for his customers.

With a specialized inventory of Herman Miller and Steelcase office cubicles and workstations, Campbell says the program restores old furniture and gives it the quality and craftsmanship of new products but without the expected price tag. The new initiative allows Miramar Office Furniture to paint the furniture trim and metal with a powdercoat, apply custom new fabric, and manufacture laminate work surfaces with custom finishes. Campbell says customers will be able to purchase Herman Miller AO2, Herman Miller Ethospace, Steelcase 9000, and Steelcase Avenir through the remanufacturing program.

Campbell also says he hopes the expansion of his Miramar Office Furniture will allow his team to accommodate each individual consumer’s workstation size and component requirements in order to find the products that are right for them.
