We are proud to achieve this milestone and extend our solutions on behalf of our providers, many of whom have been using our products meaningfully to improve patient care for almost 20 years.
(PRWEB) October 31, 2014
Office Practicum, a leading provider of Electronic Health Records (EHR) software for pediatric medicine, is pleased to announce that InfoGard has certified OP Version 14 as a Complete EHR Technology (CEHRT) solution for use in ambulatory care settings and that it is compliant with Meaningful Use 2014 requirements. InfoGard is an accredited ONC-ACB certification body.
This Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee receipt of incentive payments.
Meaningful Use Stage 2 brings many changes, including higher thresholds of utilization by providers compared to Stage 1, expanded Clinical Quality Measures, and new data exchange enhancements that will allow pediatricians to seamlessly communicate clinical information with other products serving the healthcare industry. For example, when a provider needs to refer a patient outside of their care, the system will be able to automatically generate a referral document to the referring provider and email it through DIRECT, a secure nationwide network.
“Stage 2 of Meaningful Use really upped the ante on requirements for interoperability and things that matter to our pediatric clients, such as genetic family history,” said Gregory H. Anderson, CEO. “We are proud to achieve this milestone and extend our solutions on behalf of our providers, many of whom have been using our products meaningfully to improve patient care for almost 20 years.”
“Office Practicum Version 14 brings advanced functionality to our pediatric clients, including features that support coordination of care, population management and quality reporting while continuing to offer pediatricians the unique tools and workflows necessary to diagnose and treat children,” said Pete Minio, Office Practicum Product Manager.
