Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 21, 2013
Ogle School, an industry leader in cosmetology and esthetics education since 1973, will be celebrating 40 years of preparing committed students for rewarding careers in the beauty industry on Sunday, June 23rd, 2013 with its 4th annual Face Off competition. In 2010, the Face Off event started as a friendly competition between two Ogle campuses. The idea was to engage students of different campuses, allowing them to use their creative skills in a competition. Since then, the Ogle Face Off has evolved to unify Ogle’s eight campuses. Students gain the valuable experience of working in a professional hair show, receive recognition of their work, while marketing and branding themselves to the industry as well as building skills and experience for their resumes. Ogle students also receive priceless face time in front of top stylists & salon owners in the industry. Texas is among the top five states in the country with the highest employment rates for hairdressers, hairstylists, and cosmetologists. Additionally, employment is expected to increase by 3.8% each year. In 2012, Ogle School was honored by ModernSalon.com as the national winner of their multi-school Excellence in Placement award.
Inspired by Wella’s International Trend Vision Competition, this year’s theme is The Sound of Color. The event will begin at 6:30 pm at the historic Palladium Ballroom at 1135 South Lamar Street in Dallas, TX. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door. For more information visit
