Energistics Elects Steve Roberts of BP and Duncan Junor of Halliburton to its Board of Directors

Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Mr. Steve Roberts, Vice President of Common Digital Solutions, E&P IT&S for BP, and Mr. Duncan Junor, Senior Director, The Digital Asset® for Halliburton have been elected to its board of directors.

Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Mr. Steve Roberts, Vice President of Common Digital Solutions, E&P IT&S for BP, and Mr. Duncan Junor, Senior Director, The Digital Asset® for Halliburton have been elected to its board of directors.

Steve Roberts joined BP as a Geoscientist after graduating from the University of Durham and has worked in multiple locations across the world spanning a 32 year career. He has worked in exploration, appraisal and mature field development roles before moving across to BP’s IT organisation in 1999. Since then he has served as Head of Information, Applications and Data, BP, E&P for five years before becoming Vice President of Common Digital Solutions at BP. He is accountable for driving the development and adoption of standardized IT solutions for all E&P specific technical disciplines.

Duncan Junor drives Halliburton’s Digital Asset™ programs and initiatives. He also ensures investment and capability development across all of Halliburton’s upstream products and services including drilling, evaluation, completion and production businesses. Mr. Junor has 23 years of experience in the exploration and production industry, primarily in upstream development and midstream production areas. He holds a MSc. degree from The Robert Gordon University.
