Okuma America Corporation today announces that it has partnered with Target Chip Ganassi Racing, Inc. to become an associate sponsor during the 2011 racing season on the No. 9 and No. 10 Indy cars driven by Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti in the IZOD IndyCar Series, in addition to the No. 01 Daytona Prototype driven by Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series.

In addition, he has started from the pole 24 times and finished in the top-five 92 times. The Scot currently stands second (-17) in the points standings with two races remaining.
Dixon in Championship Form: No stranger to IZOD IndyCar Series Championship title fights, 2003 and 2008 Champion and 2008 Indianapolis 500 Winner Scott Dixon is again in the hunt for the open wheel crown on the strength of two wins (Kansas, Edmonton) this season. With 24 wins, 17 poles and 78 top-fives to his credit, he is just -83 points out and in third place in the standings with two races remaining.
Daytona Prototype Duo on Point: The team’s GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series duo of Pruett and Rojas wrapped up the Driver and Team championships in the Daytona Prototype class in the No. 01 TELMEX Dinan-Prepared BMW last weekend in the season finale in Utah.
