The Wavee concept is simple and smart - extending the consumer value of online shopping beyond price by providing a truly entertaining and rewarding experience (Wavee), a bid-to-buy online auction shopping site that delivers an exhilarating and rewarding shopping experience, today announced several new marketing and promotion investments geared toward enhancing the national brand awareness of the site and its services.

Kyle Rollins joins Wavee as chief marketing officer, bringing a wealth of global experience in interactive marketing to this rising online start-up. Rollins joins from Liveline in London where he help transform a team of web designers and developers into a full-service, interactive agency with global accounts. While at LiveLine, his work in digital marketing and research played a critical role in partner Hall and Partners Europe's listing as a finalist for 2008 Agency of the Year by MRS, The Market Research Society.

"Today's consumer is faced with an ever-growing number of websites and services vying to be their number one online shopping destination," said Jacky Lai, founder and CEO of Wavee. "We're tapping into Kyle's global experience with interactive marketing to help us stand out in a highly crowded marketplace and drive increased selection of Wavee as a unique blend of shopping, gaming and entertainment."

Additionally, Wavee has signed exclusive agreements with Grey Atlanta, a member of the worldwide Grey Group advertising network, for marketing and public relations services and Prominent Placement, a full-service Atlanta search engine marketing company. As part of Grey Global Group and a member of the WPP group of companies, Grey delivers integrated marketing and communications for a blue-chip client roster that includes many of the world's best known brands such as Proctor and Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, Darden Restaurants, Canon, 3M and E*Trade. Grey Atlanta is currently agency of record serving Atlanta-based companies TOTO USA, Georgia-Pacific and Grady Health System.

Prominent Placement provides comprehensive programs that incorporate the strategic use of search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), local search marketing, press release and article optimization, link-building, social media, online reputation management, usability, call tracking and data analysis. These strategic marketing additions will serve to further strengthen Wavee's position in the online auction shopping space and emerge as a trusted and rewarding option.

"The Wavee concept is simple and smart - extending the consumer value of online shopping beyond price by providing a truly entertaining and rewarding experience," said Rollins. "I'm looking forward to working with the bright minds behind Wavee and our partners Grey Atlanta and Prominent Placement to take this service to the next step."

Wavee empowers consumers to determine the value of the latest must-have electronics, including plasma TVs, Kindles, game consoles, laptops and more through a secure auction system. The site was founded by online entrepreneur Lai, who sought to bring the fun and excitement of live auction online shopping mainstream.

About Wavee
Wavee creates a rewarding online auction shopping experience. The site introduces the concept of "Shoptions" (shopping options), which allows consumers to bid on must-have items at steep discounts off retail via an exciting auction with the option to apply the full value of bid credits towards the purchase of the product. Wavee addresses gaps in existing auction sites by awarding bidders with bonus credits through a proprietary bonus program (reducing the implied bid-to-buy price), tools and analytics that give bidders additional insight, a rewards program and more ways to win.

Wavee is headquartered in Atlanta and more information is available at
