Further guiding the growth and development of American Momentum Bank former U.S. Senator Connie Mack agreed to join American Momentum Bank’s Board of Directors in March 2007. The board also includes Donald Adam, Phil Adams, Lee Arnold Jr., Dick Batchelor, Sam Davis, Judy Genshaft, John Mills, James Pugh Jr., Mel Sembler, Allen Weiss and Jim Wolfe.

Mack served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Florida from 1983 to 1989 and then as a Senator from 1989 to 2001. He was instrumental in the passage of laws pertaining to financial modernization and modification of the tax code during his time in Washington. Mack also served as chairman of the Senate Republican Conference from 1997-2001, the third-ranking position in the Senate Republican leadership.
