Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) January 30, 2007 -- Oklahoma City based Element Fusion, a leader in content management software solutions, has launched a new partnership with one of Europe's leading design schools, Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). Through its web-based software products, Light and Icebrrg, Element Fusion is providing the online presence for an international design competition sponsored by the multi-nation, multi-site institute.

'Design for a Better World' is the theme of the competition which calls upon students from around the world to tackle present day social challenges and new ideas through innovation in fashion, design, visual arts and communication. Selected winners receive scholarship packages to attend the design school ranging from 20% up to 80% of the tuition fee value.

The competition's website, powered by Element Fusion's content management software and available in four languages, can be found at http://sp.publishpath.com.

Element Fusion's web-based content management software product, Light, is powering the competition's website. Light is specifically designed to allow web designers and advertising agencies to offer content management functionality to their own clients.

"The partnership is ideal for us," explains Tim Wall, Director of Product Marketing for Element Fusion. "The target market for Light overlaps significantly with the target market for this competition. We are excited that our product is being exposed to a large number of talented designers as well as being featured on the global stage."

The IED also utilized Element Fusion's web-based form builder, Icebrrg, to create the registration forms which allow contestants to submit their design entries online.

"The IED found us initially because of Icebrrg." Tim continues. "They found Icebrrg's website and wanted to use it to create their registration forms, but they wanted to use their own design on it. That's why we directed them to Light. Icebrrg is actually built into Light, but Light gives you the ability to use your own design, and create an entire website running on your own designs rather than just one form."

The IED operates in seven different locations across Europe with headquarters in Milan, Italy. Element Fusion operates from its headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK.
