3DVO announced today six new retailers have signed up for 3DVO Engage, the pioneering 3D service that delivers true-to-life online product images. Online retailers and manufacturers including Black Diamond, Moretz Sports, Ogio, Rocky Outdoor Gear, Skullcandy, and Spira are rolling out 3D product models to enhance the online buying experience for their customers and increase online sales. 3DVO delivers high quality 3D product images that cost 40 to 60 percent less than other available technologies with greatly improved speed-to-market.

We started by modeling our entire line of golf bags, and the 360-degree imaging enhances the look of those products. We believe customers now spend more time looking at the images and getting to know our brand much better than they could before we implemented the 3DVO models.

Among the new customers, Ogio has added 3D models of their entire golf bag line to their online catalog. The images allow browsers to turn the golf bag around in 360-degrees, pan and zoom to explore full product detail. The 70 models were created by 3DVO in less than one week from start to finish.

"By adding 3DVO's models to the Ogio site, customers can manipulate our bags as if they were browsing in a physical store," said Aaron Favero, Ogio Director of Marketing. "We started by modeling our entire line of golf bags, and the 360-degree imaging enhances the look of those products. We believe customers now spend more time looking at the images and getting to know our brand much better than they could before we implemented the 3DVO models."

3DVO modeled a line of ski boots for Black Diamond, and they used the models to create a DVD for sales and training purposes. The Black Diamond sales team uses the DVD as a "virtual sample" when meeting with distributors, cutting down significantly on the costs of manufacturing and shipping sample ski boots.

3DVO is also modeling socks for Moretz Sports, high-performance running shoes for Spira, boots for Rocky Outdoor Gear, and headphones for Skullcandy.

"Our list of customers is growing rapidly as online retailers realize the potential for 3DVO Engage technology," said Troy Sheen, CEO of 3DVO. "Early results show that our 3D product models increase online sell-through and keep customers browsing longer online. 3DVO technology makes these models affordable for companies who manufacture anything, not just big ticket items."
