Who Ya Gonna Tell? New Online Community Gives Moms a Chance to Share Their Parenting Stories

If you're a mom…you've got a story. At the new online community, Mom-Tales.com, mothers get an opportunity to share their inspiring and challenging parenting stories, support each other and promote their home based businesses. Mom-Tales Radio (on BlogTalkRadio) interviews top parenting experts, who answer challenging parenting questions live.

Chapel Hill, NC (PRWEB) October 26, 2009 -- You just caught your kid doing the most amazing thing…on his way to school, he actually walked over to a sad looking kid and offered to carry his book bag! Who are you gonna tell? Or, your little girl is still throwing temper tantrums and she's 9! Who are you gonna tell? Then, your little boy tells his big sister that she doesn't need to worry about having babies when she gets older because the vet can "fix her just like he did Scruffy." Who are you gonna tell?

Mom-Tales.com…that's who. Victoria Loveland-Coen, author of The Baby Bonding Book and the Give a Little Love series, has started a new online community for moms to share their stories…the funny and inspirational stories as well as the challenging stories. "The truth is, your friends will allow you only so much time and space to brag about (or vent about) your children." Says Loveland-Coen, "But other moms love to hear about it…particularly those already on the web. They also love to comment on other moms' stories and suggest helpful tips for dealing with a challenging parenting issue. Sharing our stories is a basic human need. It completes the experience for us."

It's that basic human need that drives visitors to Mom-Tales.com…that and a way to "record" the moment for posterity. Unlike other online community sites for moms, Mom-Tales has an organized structure that makes it easy to find, submit and comment on the kind of story the visitor is looking for. Visitors can also post magic moments caught on film as well as their YouTube videos. Parents will also benefit from the long list of free parenting articles addressing a wide range of parenting issues from coping with colic to ensuring success in middle school.

The site also gives Mompreneures a chance to promote their product or service for free with a mention and a website link to their site, in addition to the chance of being listed in the "Mom Recommended" section. "So many moms are now starting their own home based business in order to have a more flexible schedule to be with their children. I know what that's like and I help them anyway I can!"

Victoria has also launched a radio talk show that she hosts on BlogTalkRadio called (naturally) Mom-Tales Radio, featuring parenting experts as well as small business experts with the mission of "making motherhood easier." Mom-Tales Radio airs every other Tuesday at 1:00 EST at BlogTalkRadio.com.

Right now Mom-Tales.com is offering for free a year's worth of "Inspired Parenting" tips with a specific area to focus on for that week. In addiiton, from the date of this release forward, the first 100 visitors who post their story will receive a free copy of Victoria's "You've Earned It Kid" reward system for encouraging coopertive behavior.
