"I am so happy to be able to offer our current and future users additional ways to honor the love ones they have lost," said Valley of Life Founder, Miri Rossitto. "Talking about a loved one and remembering the way their life affected us is one of the best ways to deal with grief and loss."

Valley of Life provides a safe and loving environment for loved ones and friends to tell the "Life Story" of someone who has passed away. Using the website's easy-to-use format, visitors can register for a free account and build an online memorial for their loved one.

Free life story online memorials include the ability to write a tribute or obituary for the deceased, upload pictures and artwork, add audio messages, and send emails to friends and family so that they may leave a memory in the memory bank or sign the visitor guest book. For additional fees, a Memorial Album can be built.

"The new memorial album feature is really a way to combine pictures, words and music into a format that captures the emotion and love felt for any individual. I see this as the closest way for families to create the feel of a memorial service online," said Rossitto.

As part of the new site promotion, Valley of Life is offering a special discount on Memorial Albums created in the month of June 2008. To create a Memorial Album for a loved one free of charge, visitors may enter the promotional code "VOLFREE23" in the appropriate coupon field located in the checkout area at the end of the album set-up process. In order to create a Memorial Album, users must have a free Life Story account with Valley of Life.

Valley of Life also offers comprehensive information on end-of-life planning, funeral service planning, grief/bereavement services, and gifts and flowers. The site also allows users to search life stories and high-profile obituaries by state or name.

"The site's resource section as well as its regularly updated blog gives us the chance to help make dealing with the stress of planning a funeral or coping with grief easier for our users," said Rossitto. "We want to make the site a sort of sigh of relief for users feeling overwhelmed."

About Valley of Life
Valley of Life has a simple mission - to create a safe and loving environment where families and friends can pay tribute to those that they have loved and lost. It was started in the fall of 2006 after the founder, Miri Rossitto lost her mother. Respecting her mother's wishes to not carry out a traditional funeral service, Miri created the site as a way to honor her mother and allow those that knew her to do the same. Valley of Life strives to be a means to healing during the grieving process as well as a long-term way to honor loved ones no matter where in the world life may take you.
