Event Registration website RegEvent have today started taking registrations for this year’s Cancer Research UK Shine walk in London.
The event takes place on the evening of Saturday, 28th September. Competitors walk either full or half marathon distance through the night. The event starts at Battersea Power Station and includes many iconic sights throughout the route including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge.
The event is open to anyone over 13. The organiser is encouraging groups of friends or family to join the anticipated 10,000 field wearing lights, neon and glow sticks.
Shine is returning to London for a third consecutive year and during that time, thirty eight thousand people have raised £9 million for the cancer charity, funding research to beat many different types of cancer.
