QuiBids Auction Site Receives Award and Recognition

Online penny auction site, QuiBids, received two separate recognitions within the same week. The award and recognition are explained.

QuiBids has been awarded and recognized for two different, highly sought-after awards. Both of these awards were given based on specific criteria, including a point system to rank what companies came out on top.

QuiBids first received an 'Outstanding Achievement' award by the Interactive Media Awards for its website's functionality and overall appearance. The IMAs recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development, and honor organizations for their achievements.

Next, QuiBids is recognized as a finalist for Red Herring’s North America 100 Award, a prestigious list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region.

“We are very excited to have received these awards,” said QuiBids’ CEO, Matt Beckham. “There was a lot of planning that went into the site from the beginning. It’s great to be recognized for our insight and hard work. We hope that these awards will only be the beginning of more to come.”

Jill Farrand, QuiBids’ Director of Public Relations, is especially pleased to receive an award during the company’s first year of business. “For a company to be honored with an award this early on is quite an achievement,” said Farrand. “I think this says a lot about our company and how we strive to be the best in our industry. Although we are thrilled with this award, at the same time, we are humbled. It definitely adds a bit of pressure to the stride of our work, but the kind we eagerly welcome.”
