DonkeyGear.net Re-Brands and Introduces a New Poker Mascot
DonkeyGear.net, in cooperation with Royall Media and Orlando artist Frank Pezzullo, re-brands and introduces a new donkey mascot, Jack, for their poker apparel and accessories website. The company has been making headway and is becoming the most popular poker apparel company, known for their comedic designs and edgy poker humor amongst the poker circuits and poker casinos across the country.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) April 30, 2008 -- The uprising of the hottest poker fashion and apparel website, DonkeyGear.net, seems to have surprised even its founders. Launched only a few months ago, DonkeyGear.net caters to a variety of poker needs, although it's their poker t-shirts and apparel specialties that have separated them from their competition and have gotten people in casino poker rooms to take notice.
The famed poker donkey, a style of playing poker, has now become a full-blown mascot for DonkeyGear.net. Appropriately named Jack, the new mascot represents not only a formidable opponent at the poker table, but also the comedic nature that poker t-shirts and poker accessories tend to have. We can only guess at Jack's last name.
The brand transition has been a team effort by RMI (Royall Media Inc., Donkey Gear's advertising agency) and Frank Pezzullo, one of Donkey Gear's artists, whom also has a hand in the design of the available poker t-shirts at DonkeyGear.net.
"The new mascot will really help people to remember the company, so I suppose, along with branding, it's more of an iconic type of thing. We're also discussing a trip out to the World Series of Poker this year where Jack can really grab some attention," Vern Toland (DonkeyGear.net)
The new mascot is making his debut in his very own advertising campaign "Dress Like a Donkey… Play Like a Pro" in Bluff Magazine, on Bluff Magazine's Website, and in the World Series of Poker's official program for 2008. Quite possibly, he's making an appearance at the WSOP. Of course, you can always find Jack, the poker donkey, on the company's website DonkeyGear.net.
