ONS:Edge, a subsidiary of Oncology Nursing Society, is pleased to announce a collaboration with the Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) in an initiative to raise awareness about kidney cancer, including the latest evidence-based tools and resources for oncology nurses and education materials for patients. The two organizations aim to provide nursing and patient resources related to treatment options, overcoming barriers to adherence, and industry innovations.

The initiative will include educational opportunities for oncology nurses, including local and regional education events and conference symposia. The collaboration could also allow for the expansion of resources, such as white papers and videos, and connectivity between both organizations’ websites for an enhanced user experience.

ONS:Edge Executive Director Steven Shangold said, “We are excited for this new partnership opportunity that will serve to empower oncology nurses with state-of-the-science knowledge about renal cancer and patient advocacy to help improve outcomes for patients with this devastating disease.”

KCA Chief Executive Officer William P. Bro said, “This collaboration will help us to achieve our goal of increasing global outreach to healthcare professionals and patients to provide awareness and education about renal cancers. We are looking forward to initiatives that will engage oncology nurses and their patients for improved treatment adherence.”
