Open Kernel Labs (OK), a global operating system and virtualization technology provider, announced a distribution agreement with AIJI System, a worldwide embedded systems and telecommunications solutions company of Suwon, Korea.
AIJI System will market and support OK’s OKL4 advanced microkernel for embedded systems plus provide training, technical assistance and consulting services including porting, board support packages and optimization to manufacturers of telecommunications and consumer electronics. Additionally, AIJI System is investing to grow the Korean OKL4 open source community.
AIJI System develops and markets a JTAG emulator (OPENice-A1000) for the ARM7, 9, 10, 11, Cortex and XScale processors, and reference and evaluation boards for the ARM processors. OK’s OKL4 is the first microkernel operating system in AIJI System’s portfolio of software products, and it will support AIJI System’s RTOS, UbiFOS.
