"Spring Training" theme will feature healthcare and tech education and training diplomas and degrees.

Anthem College is hosting a day-long Open House featuring its healthcare and technology education and training programs at its Orlando campus March 28. The event runs from 9 am to 8 pm.

“We’re echoing a Spring Training theme for this Open House,” says Campus President David Champlin. “This is the time of year when many of us think about whether there’s more we can and want to do with our lives. This Open House is for people interested in allied health or tech careers can get some answers about what it takes to get into one.”

Anthem College is different, Champlin says, noting the emphasis the College places on helping students succeed in education and at work. “We work with students’ schedules, not against them,” he says of the College’s flexible approach with day and evening classes and lab time. Students also take one class at a time “so that they can focus their energies on learning the material and not cramming for several exams at once.”

Students can study for diploma or associate degrees depending on the program they choose, which include:

Anthem’s graduates and instructors have been recognized for their professionalism and success on the job. Last year, a 2009 Pharmacy Assistant graduate, Richard A. Clarke, RPhT, CPhT, was named Technician of the Year for 2011 and 2012 by the Florida Pharmacy Association. Jeff Walters, our Lead X-ray Instructor, received the 2011 Faculty Member of the Year Award from the Florida Association of Post-Secondary Schools and Colleges.

Anthem College is located at 3710 Maguire Boulevard in Orlando, just north of Rt. 50/East Colonial Drive. For more information and to RSVP to the Open House, call 407-893-7400.
