Optimer Brands, the company that markets both DRIFIRE® Comfortable FR Wear™ and drirelease® with FreshGuard™, has launched a new training video to help educate its customers and consumers on what makes drirelease different from other performance apparel on the market.

The video features various Optimer employees who explain the history of drirelease and discuss the product’s core features and benefits, which include superior wicking and fast drying, FreshGuard odor control, a soft, natural feel, and fabrics that are tested and certified by Optimer Labs. “Today’s sportswear landscape is overloaded with brands making similar claims, making it extremely difficult to differentiate one brand from another,” said Dustin Cohn, Chief Marketing Officer for Optimer Brands. “Our drirelease training video defines the core consumer needs in the active apparel space and explains how drirelease addresses these needs in a unique, effective way, by providing benefits that are permanent and inherent to our fabrics.”

“We have received very positive reactions from customers who have seen the video, and it is being adopted as a training tool to educate customer sales forces on the benefits of garments made with our fabrics,” highlighted Chris Moore, General Manager of Optimer Labs. “We want to make this video as accessible as possible to ensure salespeople across the world can learn about our products and can understand what makes drirelease special,” concluded Moore.

The video can be viewed on the drirelease website (http://www.drirelease.com) in the “News & Events” and “Technology” sections, or by clicking on the following URL: http://drirelease.com/Article.aspx?id=25 .

About Optimer Brands
Optimer Brands, formerly known as Optimer Performance Fibers, a Sterling Capital Partners company, is based in Wilmington, DE.

Founded in 2001, Optimer Brands conducts textile research, development and marketing and has a scientific staff credited with over 100 patents and developments.

drirelease® is a registered trademark of Optimer Brands. It is a patented, intimate blend of synthetic and natural fibers that combine wicking and quick drying attributes into a single yarn. Instead of spreading the moisture across a fabric’s surface, drirelease actually pushes it to the outside of a garment, releasing water and perspiration faster than any other performance fabric on the market. drirelease includes the added benefit of FreshGuard®, an odor neutralizer embedded in all drirelease fabrics that virtually eliminates odor without using harmful chemicals. All drirelease attributes are inherent to our yarns, meaning they will not wear or wash out. For more information, visit http://www.drirelease.com.

FreshGuard® is a registered trademark of Optimer Brands. It is an odor neutralizer embedded in all drirelease fabrics. It eliminates odors in garments by blocking odor-causing sebaceous body oils from attaching to the fabric – also stopping the attraction of odor-causing bacteria. Not an anti-microbial or anti-bacterial, which attack bacteria that possess positive functions, FreshGuard is environmentally friendly. For more information, visit http://www.drirelease.com.
