Indosoft Inc., developers of Q-Suite, the leading unified contact center solution for Asterisk Telephony, announces the availability of Orecx call recording capability from within Q-Suite 5.7 to offer network based voice recording.

The availability of Orecx call recording functionality from within Q-Suite allows large cloud and managed service providers to move to an Asterisk based contact center solution.

Indosoft Inc., developers of Q-Suite, the leading contact center software suite for Asterisk, announces the availability of call recording functionality from Orecx within Q-Suite 5.7. With this integration, Q-Suite now offers a viable network call recording option for both its premise based contact centers as well as managed hosted call center service providers. Network based call recording minimizes processing power requirements on Asterisk, enhances total call processing capacity and provides the ability to setup a redundant voice recording infrastructure.

Q-Suite provides full featured network call recording capability through Orecx. This can be exclusive or in addition to call recording available through Asterisk. The network based call recording option allows Q-Suite based contact centers to increase the total concurrent call handling capability of their Asterisk servers. Q-Suite admin functionality will provide settings for automatic recording of all calls or selective recording based on campaigns, queues and agents. It also provides supervisor screens to access and listen to recorded calls for quality control and monitoring.

“Our highly affordable, full-featured and open-platform call recording software is the industry’s easiest to install, use and maintain,” said Steve Kaiser, CEO at Orecx. “By adding OrecX to the Q-Suite, Indosoft can now offer its clients a more comprehensive and capable Asterisk-based contact center solution to help enhance quality, reduce cost and increase productivity.”

“Medium and large contact centers require network based call recording for Asterisk” said Justin Traer, Director of Support Services at Indosoft. “The availability of Orecx voice recording functionality from within Q-Suite will allow large cloud based managed contact center service providers to migrate to Asterisk based solutions and offer redundant call recording capability with high availability.”
