I want homeowners to learn about their situation and realize that there's more than one option. - Michael Kara

A new marketing campaign for Kara Homes & Associates is set to begin in March. The strategy is to educate homeowners about their options for selling their home – whether they’re facing foreclosure, or simply want to relocate.

The campaign is comprised of several facets including television spots, a new website, and local print ads. Michael Kara, the owner and broker of the company, has a passion to educate homeowners and that passion is reflected in the company’s new campaign.

“It all started because I hear of so many people going into foreclosure or bankruptcy because they can’t make their mortgage payments, or even doing a strategic default just because they want to relocate,” said Michael Kara. “They destroyed their credit, and they didn’t have to. That’s why we decided to put so much information on the website and into these videos… that’s all I want, is for them to learn about their situation and realize that there’s more than one option.”

Michael himself is featured in all of the 30-second television ads, which was a weighty decision on the company’s behalf. “It’s not that I think I’m a great spokesman – I’m not at all, but when the message is coming from me, at least it’s real. For anyone else to try to convey the same message…well, they’re just reading words off a page.”

The television spots are scheduled to run on weekday mornings throughout Central Florida via the CF News 13 channel offered by Brighthouse Networks, and on other channels during weekends. Like the rest of the campaign, the commercials focus on guiding homeowners to the company’s extensive website where they’ve compiled resources, facts, opinions, reviews and much more into a comprehensive store of information for homeowners facing short sale or even foreclosure.

The television spots were produced by Odyssey Creative in Orlando and the custom website design is credited to Pro Media One, also in Orlando.
