SureStep, LLC, a leading designer and distributor of orthotic devices for children, will host continuing education classes for pediatric orthotists and physical therapists in New Mexico, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island in November 2014.

The upcoming continuing education course, “Stability in Motion – Functional Solutions for the Hypnotic Gait,” will be presented by Bernie Veldman, CO and founder of SureStep and Anne Pare’, CO and SureStep Educational Consultant. The course will focus on:

The course is approved by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) and the Board of Certification (BOC) for 5.0 continuing education units. About SureStep:
SureStep, LLC, based in South Bend, Indiana, designs, produces and distributes a number of orthotic devices, particularly for children with low muscle tone. Frustrated by the functional limitations created by traditional rigid bracing made of hard plastics, in 2000, founder Bernie Veldman, CO, created a lighter and more flexible device that would allow and even encourage normal development of a child’s gait without decreasing function. The result was the creation of a revolutionary dynamic stabilizing system named SureStep. SureStep is the most effective means of providing stability to children who pronate when standing and walking. This patented, dynamic system allows children to gain stability, while still allowing natural movement and function. SureStep creates and distributes additional products addressing a wide range of pediatric orthotic issues for children of all ages. To learn more about SureStep, please visit
