Outdoor wall sculptures are not just objects that hang outdoor on the wall for decorative purposes. These sculptures usually resemble some characteristics of their owners. JRMArts.com stated that different people buy sculptures of different shapes, materials and design. The company decided to offer a seminar at no cost, where the company’s owner, Jim Mutrux, tried to match up different personalities with a variety of materials and designs used when creating outdoor sculptures.
Jim Mutrux, the owner of JRM Arts, has a lifelong awareness of aesthetics and craftsmanship. Pursuing these passions brought him to Kansas City Art Institute, and then moved him to choosing a career as a contractor who specializes in the restoration of old buildings. Today, the company does an amazing job of preserving and reproducing different building ornaments that have been giving character, style and charm to many buildings across the United States. Most of the sculptures available are from an era of great optimism, created by old, world-trained artisans who immigrated to America. Thanks to JRM Arts, all of the great, historic art works can be reproduced today, to give character and charm to every home in the United States.
When talking about the seminar topic, Jim recently commented:
“2 months ago, a good friend of mine who is also a psychologist, asked me if I would be able to know what outdoor wall sculpture a person might buy, once they would entered the store. She then explained that she once conducted an experiment where she matched people with different items that she thought they would respond to based upon their interests and physical aspects. After two months, we were able to help our customers with their shopping; presenting them with materials and design we thought would fit their personal preferences and personality. Now we have decided to pass our knowledge on to other outdoor wall sculpture enthusiasts, so that we know how to help our customers find their favorite scultpures..”
