Outdoor Heating Guide Urges Householders to Be Safety Conscious in Preparation for Fall
With the cooler months almost here, it is important not to ignore the safety elements of outdoor heating units. Accidents often happen because of inadequate cleaning and checking of outdoor fireplace and heating appliances.

It should also be checked to ensure that birds haven't nested in the chimney, and the flue is cleared otherwise the immediate area will fill with smoke creating an unpleasant atmosphere affecting anyone who suffers from asthma or respiratory conditions.
The Outdoor Heating Guide also recommends the use of spark inhibitors around open fire areas, gas fire pits and chiminea so that sparks are contained and the likelihood of burns or fires is lessened. A fire extinguisher should be handy for any fires that may occur.
