Outlets of Colorado 24-Hour Moonlight Madness Sale Starting at 9 PM on Thanksgiving Night

At the Outlets of Colorado in Castle Rock, Loveland, and Silverthorne, Black Friday sales at 300 retailers start early, on Thanksgiving night at 9:00 p.m., for the kick-off of a 24-hour shopping event. With exclusive 24-hour discount coupons, holiday festivity, and $100,000 in giveaways to include vacations, shopping sprees, and tickets for Colorado skiing and attractions, the Outlets of Colorado welcome the 2011 holidays with the Moonlight Madness seasonal celebration.

Shoppers get a head start on Black Friday shopping deals, at the Outlets of Colorado's Moonlight Madness sales in Castle Rock, Loveland and Silverthorne. The sales begin at 9:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving night.

Everyone is invited to Moonlight Madness — to what we think is the best and most fun early shopping event in Colorado — with the biggest savings of the season...

Consumers can save 30 to 70 percent off retail everyday at the Outlets of Colorado, but on Thanksgiving night and throughout Black Friday on November 24 and 25, bargain hunters will find even bigger savings at the 300 name brand retailers at the three centers. The Outlets at Castle Rock, Loveland and Silverthorne will each host their annual 24-hour Moonlight Madness Sale, an event that features exclusive 24-hour shopping discounts and more than $100,000 in trip giveaways, shopping sprees and attractions passes prizes. The 2011 theme for the Moonlight Madness Sale is 'More Merry...Less Moolah!'

Shoppers will begin their retail adventures at the Castle Rock, Loveland or Silverthorne outlets' customer service centers at 9:00 p.m. There, shoppers will pick up a free savings card and a four-page guide for shopping and exclusive coupons. The guide will also be available as an insert in several Colorado newspapers on Thanksgiving Day. The customer service centers will be the site for guests to redeem vouchers for hourly gift giveaways, and the place to register for trip drawings that will take place for twelve consecutive days in December.

From December 12 through December 23, the Outlets of Colorado will identify four daily winners, who register at the Moonlight Madness Sale, for a total of 48 individual three-day, two-night trips to Colorado destinations and Las Vegas.

The destinations and vacation packages include:

  • Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a AAA-rated Four Diamond resort in Colorado Springs;
  • Big Horn Mountain Top Lodge at Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, a 3,000 square foot, beautifully appointed vacation home, along with four passes to the Bridge and Park attraction;
  • A choice of a stay at Cambria Suites Fort Collins, Holiday Inn Express Colorado Springs Air Force Academy, Cambria Suites Denver International Airport, Hilton Garden Inn at the Colorado Springs Airport, Hampton Inn at the Colorado Springs Airport, or Holiday Inn Summit County; and
  • A choice of Las Vegas lodging at Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Rio Las Vegas, Bally’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Paris or Imperial Palace, with round-trip airfare for two on Allegiant Airlines.

Every hour at Moonlight Madness, starting at 11:00 p.m., shoppers can redeem coupons for a variety of attractions tickets and prizes. The items will be awarded to the first 100 guests at each of the three Outlets of Colorado locations:

11:00 p.m.: Cheyenne Mountain Zoo admission ($17 value);

12:00 p.m.: MouseRugs ($25 value);

1:00 a.m.: Pikes Peak Cog Railway voucher ($33 value);

2:00 a.m.: Royal Gorge Bridge and Park admission ($25 value); and

3:00 a.m.: Loveland Ski Area lift ticket ($59 value).

At 4:00 a.m., a drawing for a $1,000 shopping spree will be awarded to one lucky registrant at each of the Castle Rock, Loveland and Silverthorne outlet centers. The individual selected must be present to claim his or her prize.

"This year, we're starting earlier than ever before, and we're introducing some new elements too. I'm especially excited to introduce adorable animals to potential new homes at the Outlets at Loveland pet adoption event." On Friday, November 25 in Loveland, the festivity starts with a free pancake breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. courtesy of the Santa Cops. Then Larimer Humane Society will be on hand with adoptable kittens, puppies, cats and dogs for the Santa Claws Paws Adopt-a-Thon from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The 24-hour Moonlight Madness Sale on Thanksgiving night initiates five weeks of holiday events and shopping at the three Outlets of Colorado centers. Throughout December and until the New Year, each center will host numerous visits from Santa and free holiday entertainment.
