At the Outlets of Colorado in Silverthorne, Castle Rock and Loveland, Thanksgiving is undoubtedly the favorite annual holiday. With a Black Friday sales event that starts early, on Thanksgiving night, the Outlets open at 10:00 PM for a continuous 23-hour shopping event. The three centers will give away an unprecedented 60 vacations, three $1,000 shopping sprees, and hundreds of tickets for Colorado skiing and attractions totaling more than $300,000 in prizes.

November 22, 2010 -- Shoppers have grown accustomed to saving 30 to 70 percent off retail everyday at the Outlets of Colorado, but on Thanksgiving night and throughout Black Friday on November 25 and 26, bargain hunters will get even deeper discounts at the 300 name brand retailers at the three centers. The Outlets at Castle Rock, Silverthorne and Loveland are gearing up now for their annual 23-hour Moonlight Madness Sale, which features more than $300,000 in prize giveaways including trips, ski lift tickets and attraction tickets for favorite Colorado destinations. The event has hourly redeemable offers at its sales centers, where shoppers are encouraged to start their shopping adventures by picking up a free savings card and reviewing the guide to the giveaways and savings when the malls open at 10:00 PM.

"Clearly the Moonlight Madness Sale is about shopping and value-- but it's also dedicated to providing fun and good cheer for our loyal shoppers. Our list of giveaways is longer than Santa's!" says Peggy Ziglin, Regional Public Relations and Tourism Director for the Outlets of Colorado. "We're elaborating on the Twelve Days of Christmas theme by giving away 12 trips to nearly as many destinations in Colorado, and Las Vegas too."

Not only are there trips, but each hour, starting at 11:00 PM, customers can come to the sales center to redeem a coupon for various attractions ticket giveaways too-- including ski, train rides, and adventure park passes. Contributing to the festival atmosphere of the event, each hour at each of the centers, the following prizes will be given away:

11:00 PM: Loveland Ski Area Lift Tickets, $59 value, free to the first 100 customers at each of the three centers.

12:00 AM: Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park Winter Fun Pass, $29 value, free to first 100 customers at each of the three centers.

1:00 AM: Rio Grande Scenic Railroads “North Pole Express” in Alamosa Colorado.Train ride to the North Pole where Santa gives silver sleigh bells to all good girls and boys. Enjoy cocoa and cookies aboard with storytelling and caroling. $20 value, free to first 200 customers at each of the three centers.

2:00 AM: Royal Gorge Bridge and Park Ticket, $25 value, free to the first 100 customers at each of the three centers.

3:00 AM: $1,000 Outlets shopping spree, free to one lucky customer at each of the three centers. Customer must be present to win.

4:00 AM: Pikes Peak Cog Railway Ticket, $33 value, free to first 100 customers at each of the three centers.

5:00 AM: Sunlight Mountain Resort Ski Lift Ticket, $50 value, free to first 100 customers at each of the three centers.

In addition, every shopper can register for trip giveaway drawings and a no-strings-attached shot at winning one of 60 vacations, given away daily from December 12 through 23. Shoppers need not be present to win one of 12 trips to be awarded from each of these participating destinations and lodges:

  • Three-days and two nights at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, one of Colorado Springs' most popular attractions.
  • One two-night stay at any of the following partner hotels: Cambria Suites Fort Collins, Holiday Inn Express Colorado Springs Air Force Academy, Cambria Suites Denver International Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Airport, Hampton Inn Colorado Springs Airport, Holiday Inn Frisco – Summit County.
