The third and final Shopping Extravaganza, hosted annually each fall by the Outlets of Colorado, will take place at the mountain center, the Outlets at Silverthorne, on Saturday, November 20, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Shoppers already benefit from 30 to 70 percent off name brand retail every day at the Outlets, but at the Shopping Extravaganza there are additional exclusive shopping discounts, a continental breakfast, catered lunch, dessert, wine and beer tasting, goodie bag, entertainment and free shuttle. Shoppers can pick up deals at favorite brand name stores like Tommy Hilfiger, Aeropostale, Guess, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor and many more.
"Hands-down, the Outlets are the best place to shop in the mountain region for name brands, all of which are located in one convenient mall," says Peggy Ziglin, Regional Public Relations and Tourism Director for the Outlets of Colorado. "The Outlets at Silverthorne offer savings all year, but at the Extravaganza shoppers benefit from even deeper discounts and a full day of fun." All 52 retailers at the Outlets at Silverthorne have contributed gift certificates for giveaways which take place throughout the day-- for a total of $20,000 in retail value. In addition, merchandise and trips from the Outlets' partners will also be raffled. Tickets for the full day of festivity are $20 each, and proceeds from ticket sales benefit fifteen local and regional charities.
Stores offering additional exclusive discounts during this day-long event include nearly 40 stores. Additional giveaways include a Las Vegas 3-day, 2-night vacation, with accommodations at Tropicana Resort and round trip Allegiant Air flights, a cruiser bike valued at over $400, and luggage. Guests may purchase additional raffle tickets for $1 each to increase their odds of winning. All raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to the beneficiary charity partners of the Shopping Extravaganza.

"We've enhanced the Shopping Extravaganza each year, and in 2010 we're rolling out the red carpet for our guests with unprecedented value-added extras." Breakfast is courtesy of Daz Bog Coffee, Bimbo Bakery and Peak Provisions. Chipotle Mexican Grill will provide a tasty lunch, and dessert alone is worth the price of admission: Harry & David, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Peak Provisions will indulge shoppers with their delectable treats. Locals Liquors will serve beer and wine samples to shoppers. To round out the festive party atmosphere there will be live entertainment from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
Fifteen participating charities and causes will benefit from Shopping Extravaganza ticket sales, including Christ Lutheran Preschool, COmmotion Summit School of Dance, Dillon Valley Elementary PTSA, Friends along the Road Grief Support Group, Friends of the Library, Felipe "Pepo" Parker Memorial Athletic Fund benefiting ISTC athletes, National Repertory Orchestra, Silverthorne Elementary School PTSA, Summit County Preschool, ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation for Bike Helmet Safety, West Grand Wrestling Club, League for Animals & People of Summit (LAPS), Velocity Volleyball Club, Summit Hockey Club, and High Riders Snowmobile Club Multi Use Winter Trail Grooming Program.
The Outlets at Silverthorne Shopping Extravaganza takes place Saturday, November 20, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with registration from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The mall will be open until 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and include exclusive shopping discounts, breakfast, lunch, desserts, wine and beer tasting, inclusion in all prize drawings, live entertainment, goodie bag and free shuttle service between the three villages. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Outlets at Silverthorne customer service center, or from one of the beneficiary charities and causes associated with the event.
The next event at the Outlets of Colorado will be the Holiday Moonlight Madness shopping kick-off, taking place at all three centers in Loveland, Castle Rock, and Silverthorne on Thanksgiving night, November 25, opening at 10:00 PM and remaining continuously open through Friday, November 26 until 9:00 PM. The event will feature redeemable certificates for giveaways at 11:00 PM, midnight, 3:00 AM, 5:00 AM, and 7:00 AM for ski lift tickets, trips, and hundreds of other goods and services from the Outlets and their numerous tourism partners.
