XL World Romania Launches Massive Recruitment Plan to Support English Language Call Centre Outsourcing and BPO

XL World Romania is hiring 200 English-speaking agents to support the increasing demands from the UK and US BPO and call centre markets. The agents will join a new unit focused on delivering telemarketing and customer care outsourcing services to the English market.

London (PRWEB) September 28, 2006 -- XL World has begun a significant recruitment plan aimed at consolidating its position in the English-speaking markets for business process outsourcing. The initiative is a result of increasing demand from UK and US companies requiring English-language support.

The recruitment process, which will take place over the next two months, will ensure that 200 new practitioners are hired and fully trained by the end of November. XL World currently employs 700 people who deliver multi-lingual call centre services and BPO from four sites in Romania. Currently only 20% of the team is dedicated to projects in English but the plan accounts for a 100% growth in English-language capabilities of the company.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Daniele Cavallini, Administrator of XL World said: “So far we have provided multi-lingual services to UK and US companies having global needs. We want to take a step further and consolidate our position in the English-only outsourcing market. Our business has increased dramatically over the past two years and we are keen to sustain very high growth in 2007 as well.”

Romania’s excellent multi–lingual skills make it an attractive near-shore destination for outsourcing services. According to The Eastern European Translators Association 60% of Romania’s population speak a foreign language, usually English, and some 25% speak two foreign languages.

The recruitment plan follows the launch of a number of initiatives in 2006 which have substantially grown XL World’s business, the latest being the opening of a new site which added 100 seats to the existing infrastructure.
