Castle Cover Uplift Contents Insurance By 10%
Over 50s insurer is providing extra contents cover over the Christmas period.
Poole, Dorset (PRWEB) November 25, 2008 -- Throughout the Christmas and religious festival season, Over 50s insurance company Castle Cover are providing an additional 10% cover on their contents policy as standard.
Over 50's insurance company Castle Cover are urging the public to review their contents sum insured during the festive season, as many people do not realise that a new expensive gift - such as a computer or jewellery - may not be covered on an existing policy if it is not 'named' on the policy.
As a result, Castle Cover is providing an additional 10% cover on their contents insurance policy as standard for the period 30 days before and 30 days after the 25th of December.
At this time of year, Police often report a rise in domestic burglaries as criminals target homes that they believe will be full of presents. Gifts placed around the Christmas tree or by a window are often in full view from the outside, and Christmas coincides with the darkest part of the year - factors such as these make households more vulnerable to domestic burglary.
So as Police forces across the country ask the public to consider their security measures, Castle Cover have considered their insurance measures at the same time. With their additional 10% cover and a 24-hour helpline available 365 days a year, customers are ensured that help is at hand if the worst should happen.
