The newly refashioned Upper East Side Surrey hotel announces its partnership with Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi to exclusively showcase the talented designer’s new collection of luxury jewelry, The Padma Collection. Further highlighting the hotel’s esteemed location amongst quintessential Madison Avenue retailers, the partnership offers guests a first glimpse of the The Padma Collection’s Fall/Winter 2010 line of elegantly unique pieces inspired by her international travels. Available now through March 2011, hotel guests may also purchase The Padma Collection directly through The Surrey’s concierge.

A long-time supporter of The Surrey, Padma returned to the hotel following its recent $60+ million refashion and was inspired by the hotel’s Beaux-art design and in-house collection of modern art. This inspiration sparked Padma’s desire to showcase her line of jewelry, comprised of unconventional pieces with unique history and also available for purchase at Bergdorf Goodman. The Surrey is the first hotel to partner with The Padma Collection and feature the exclusive line.
