My heart was broken over how far women of the church had strayed from the Word of God.

Paige Coleman offers a simple message in “Delivering Women from the Snares of Death: Purging Sin to Prosper the Soul” (published by WestBow Press): if readers want to be blessed, joyful and fulfilled, they need to read the Bible and do what it says.
“My heart was broken over how far women of the church had strayed from the Word of God,” Coleman writes. “Delivering Women from the Snares of Death” is an in-depth, scripturally-rich exploration of the lives of seven biblical women, including Eve, Job’s wife, and Mary, the mother of Jesus . Coleman uses these women’s stories as examples for readers to learn by as they combat the sin that hinders their spiritual growth.
“Sincere Christian women see the compromise and hypocrisy of other women in the church and are similarly troubled by it in their hearts,” Coleman says. “Many, lacking fighting words, have given in to feminist pressure and postmodernist theory, rendering them conflicted and confused about how to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. This book clarifies the roles, as defined biblically, and encourages women to submit themselves in obedience to God through the power of Christ.”
Referencing dead, dying and unfruitful churches as not providing what their congregants need, Coleman says, “Of the sincere Christian women who remain, many are in desperate need of solid Bible teaching that will lead them back to the path of righteousness. I wrote this book for them because time is short, the end is near, and ‘the judge standeth before the door’ (James 5:9).”
