Dr. Marshall White, along with White & Co., LLC and PalletOne, Inc., is pleased to announce that the lawsuits with the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA) concerning the Pallet Design System (PDS) pallet-design software have been amicably settled.

Dr. Marshall White, along with White & Co., LLC and PalletOne, Inc., is pleased to announce that the lawsuits with the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA) concerning the Pallet Design System (PDS) pallet-design software have been amicably settled (National Wooden Pallet and Container Association v. White, Civil Action No. 7:09-cv-526, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, Roanoke Division; PalletOne, Inc. v. National Wooden Pallet and Container Association, Civil Action No. 7:10-cv-351, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, Roanoke Division; and National Wooden Pallet and Container Association v. White & Co., LLC, et al., Case No. CL10003974, in the Circuit Court for the City of Alexandria).

Dr. White is proud of his years of service to the pallet industry, the NWPCA, and its members and he looks forward to continuing that service in the years ahead.

Dr. White is especially proud of the contributions he made to the development and overwhelming success of PDS. He, with his team at Virginia Tech, worked for nearly 25 years developing the pallet-design software originally created by Dr. Joseph Loferski in 1984 into the industry-standard pallet-design system it is today.

Dr. White is honored by the industry’s response to PDS.
